Editor,This is in reference to the Joseph Rwagatare’s opinion piece, "Who gains from UK aid to Rwanda? (The New Times, March 5).We have always held the British as true friends of Rwanda. But the recent move by the United Kingdom Government has reversed all this. The moral latitude that some of us and held it high, is certainly lost.If the move had been taken by the French or Belgians, some of us would not have been surprised. That has been their modus operandi in Africa. That UK can go that route that lumps them together with the other European countries that have lost credibility among young Africans.God knows what will happen. It is not good at all for these ‘bullying’ Europeans. The world has changed, and so have we. Have they?Robert Bayingana, Kigali
