US-based Ghanaian musician Rocky Dawuni will use a peace concert in Nairobi on Thursday to launch and dedicate a love song to the city that he loves.Rocky, who has toured the US and Europe, wrote the song years back when a visit to Nairobi introduced him to talk about the post election violence. He will feature in a day-long event dubbed, ‘Chagua Peace Festival’, which kicks off at the Uhuru Park on Thursday."When I first came here, everyone I spoke to was talking about this. They were talking about the pain of the violence and their worry of the upcoming poll. I felt that I needed to write a song about Nairobi. A peace song masquerading as a love song,” he told Capital Lifestyle.Rocky has worked with Bono of U2 on a track called War/No More Trouble and has shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Peter Gabriel, Jason Mraz and K’Naan.
