Editor,What an interesting tale by Mr Bake Robert? He has really reminded me of once when I went into a dark room with a feeling that there might have been a serpent. And it so happened that there was a leakage on the ceiling that might have been from a damaged water pipe. So immediately when I entered into the room, the water droplets sprinkled all over my face and I ran out cursing and shouting at the top of my voice that a cobra had spat on my face. I started shivering and I couldn’t stand upright and felt like I was staggering. I started pleading with my colleagues to rush me to the hospital. It wasn’t until these fellows decided to hunt this cobra that they discovered that it was a mere leakage. Boy, it would be an understatement, if I said that I was so embarrassed. I felt so small after realising that all of what I had gone through was just imaginary. I was since then nicknamed "Cobra” not because I was so scared, but it was because I proved to be much more of a coward. But then again, sometimes we kind of need to have that "Fear”. Otherwise, we might prove to be so disrespectful and end up the ‘’Rwamukwengye (R.I.P) style, that is from an elephant to the rat.Yasin Hamdan, KigaliReaction to Bake Robert’s commentary, "There’s no need to be afraid”, (The New Times, February 25)
