These days, unlike before, my perfect weekend is best spent if I’m able to rest and relax off my usual hectic schedule.

My weekends are about relaxing in quiet environment with nature surroundings like Kivu Sun Serena. I can’t wait for ecology in Nyungwe forest and also enjoy inhaling coastal breeze, but these are rare indulgences.

During such moments, I read lots of books to learn more about new places and different cultures. I like jogging and sometimes do aerobics. But also fix time to chat and laugh with friends, as I believe in socializing.

Despite my busy schedule, I try my best to squeeze time to have some good relaxation. Inevitably, I spend most of my weekend at home.

But whenever I get a chance, I like to escape Kigali to relax at Kivu Sun, in the Western part of the country (Gisenyi).

Its tranquility place and comfort for a perfect relaxation. Asian cuisine is my favourite but I also love eating the Indian and Chinese food.

I, however try to watch what I eat, in order to maintain a healthy diet, though this might not be that easy to people with someone with a good appetite.

I have to be honest that my professional life I’m committed to doesn’t permit me to hangout often as I used to do. I thus prefer to relax and rest when I get a chance to.

But once in a while, I will go out at night with friends to sample new places and lounges in Kigali town. I enjoy shopping! I’m a typical woman when it comes to shopping, I shop and indulge myself with some nice stuffs.

However, I try to have a fair balance spending and personal investments. I believe in financial freedom and security and try to work towards it.

While preparing myself for the week, I have a notebook which I consider to be my work bible. I note everything in it and at the end of the week; I review my accomplishments, and take notes on the following week’s plans.

I’m good at multitasking and accomplishing things quickly, so with good planning I can do a lot. I must also admit that sometimes I bite more than I can chew. I have a weekly and daily "To do” lists.

I find these very helpful as urgent and ad hoc schedule sometimes take me off track.
