Since Valentine’s Day fell on a working day, MTN decided to extend the love to the weekend with the URURAVU concert on the 16th Friday at the Expo grounds in Gikondo.Unfortunately for MTN, the number of peoplewas disappointing. But nothing was going to stop the show as artistes hit the stage, proving why they were chosen as MTN ambassadors. Jay Polly wowed the crowd and Knowless, who was recently signed as Brand Ambassador, gave the theme LOVE a whole new meaning with her romantic songs. Fans could not help but dance along to the Sinzakwibagirwa star’s songs. Uncle Austin made the fans jump with his Bagupfusha Ubusa. Comedian Atome added humour to the love theme in French, Kinyarwanda and English. Daphone Mutoni, a journalism student at NUR and an Uncle Austin fan said the concert was great despite the poor turn up. "Enjoying a concert doesn’t depend on the number of people that have attended; it depends on how great the performances are. They did their best and I enjoyed the show,” she said.
