Editor,REFERENCE IS made to Nathalie Munyampenda’s article, "The challenge of neutrality”. (The New Times, February 13).Kizito Mihigo (that gentle poet from Kibeho) has written a powerful and balanced song titled Twanze gutoberwa amateka, which should be adopted as the global anthem for all troubled communities (and nations). Listen to the wisdom of his crescendo (freestyle translation from Kinyarwanda): "When my parents were alive -- they talked about the illuminating power of light (rumuri). But I did not understand the true meaning of light until I was forced to live in total darkness. I am not praising that particular darkness nor accepting its evil deeds -- but merely observing that this darkness has made the benefits (presence) of light even more precious now."Bravo Kizito Mihigo for understanding and preaching the power of "YEELEN” (light).Margaret S.
