ABUJA – Stepehn Keshi has voiced his sentiments on the dramatic turn of events that has seen him resignKeshi, 51, announced his resignation on the radio show of respected South African journalist and presenter Robert Marawa on Metro FM on Monday afternoon.The ‘Big Boss’ however made a dramatic turn around following a late night meeting with Nigeria’s Sports Minister, Bolaji Abdullahi late on Monday."My attention has been drawn to reports in the media that I have resigned my appointment as Head Coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria,” Keshi said.Keshi admitted that things had not gone exactly according to script in the past few weeks but revealed that he had decided to continue as Super Eagles head coach."While I have had cause to express my displeasure over some issues that happened in the course of our participation in the AFCON which my team won by the grace of God, especially concerning my relationship with the Nigerian Football Federation."I have since had opportunity to discuss the various issues with all concerned."I am therefore pleased to say that I have reconsidered my position and have decided to continue with my job,’ he saidThe former national team captain then took the time to praise the Minister, Abdullahi "for his swift action’ in ensuring that the rift was resolved."I want to thank the Honourable Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, for his swift and kind intervention,” Keshi concluded.
