Beauty for Ashes Band moves to upgrade music

Rwanda’s leading rock gospel band “Beauty for Ashes,” is planning to upload a series of videos on the internet that will educate artistes on how to use music equipment and other instruments to produce better music.

Rwanda’s leading rock gospel band "Beauty for Ashes,” is planning to upload a series of videos on the internet that will educate artistes on how to use music equipment and other instruments to produce better music."This will take our music industry to another level. It will be easier for artistes to learn and observe everything their field requires,” said Desire Ukwiye, one of the managers of the band."We encourage all artistes to use this chance to promote their songs not only in East Africa but also on the international scene as the internet is a great place to do that.”The group, that has so far released an album called Siriprize which consisted of ten songs, is planning to launch its second album.One of the members of the band, Olivier Habamuremyi, said they have put a lot of effort in promoting their music on the internet to make it easier for people to access their music.
