Hadi ready to impress in South Africa

Rising star rider, Janvier Hadi has vowed to impress as he starts his one-year stint at South Africa-based UCI Continental Center this month.

Rising star rider, Janvier Hadi has vowed to impress as he starts his one-year stint at South Africa-based UCI Continental Center this month.Hadi who left this week said that he will do all he can to keep the Rwandan flag high.The 21-year-old follows in the footsteps of Team Rwanda skipper Adrien Niyonshuti, who was the first Rwandan to go pro in 2009 after securing a professional contract with Team MTN Energade."I will do all I can to improve my career and with my capability, I believe I will stage good performances in South Africa,” he said."This my chance and I am ready to take it, it is not only for me but even for my country as well as other young riders who will follow me in future. Niyonshuti did it and I am looking up to him to do better and reach far more than he did,” added Hadi.Meanwhile, Niyonshuti, who has made history and became the first ever Rwandan professional in the European peloton as Team MTN-Qhubeka has been listed in the UCI Pro Continental team which is due to start training this month in Italy.
