Tearful Alpha returns to the US

In the wee hours of Thursday, Tusker Project Fame winner Alpha Rwirangira, who was in town for his Christmas and New Year’s holidays, flew back to the United States where he is pursuing studies in Music Business at Campbellsville University, Kentucky.

Home sweet home: Alpha Rwirangira heads back to the US

In the wee hours of Thursday, Tusker Project Fame winner Alpha Rwirangira, who was in town for his Christmas and New Year’s holidays, flew back to the United States where he is pursuing studies in Music Business at Campbellsville University, Kentucky.He’s currently in the second year of his four-year course.Before his departure, Alpha hosted a dinner at his family home in Kabeza where he invited his friends and thanked them for the support they’ve offered to him and promised to do his best at school.During his emotional farewell, the 26 year old said, ‘I love this country and I feel so sad to leave this place and the people I love, especially my family and friends ’. He promised to return as soon as he gets the opportunity.Apart from his holidays, Alpha was also in the country for the second edition of his annual concert dubbed "Alpha Band with Families”  At his "Alpha Band with Families” concert on Christmas Day, Alpha and musicians like Tom Close, Jack B, Sentore, Knowless, Ellion, Christopher, Charly, Tizzo and Big Gun performed for parents and children at the Royal Car Wash in Kimihurura.
