Reigning Primus National Football league champions APR Football Club will not sign any new players during the January transfer window, head coach Eric Nshimiyimana has said.According to Nshimiyimana, the 13-time Rwandan champions will only conclude formalities for striker Andrew Buteera to make his long-awaited switch from Ugandan side Proline FC.The military side ‘signed’ Buteera from Proline last August but the Ugandan Super League outfit dithered when it came to releasing the player until the transfer deadline passed. "Apart from completing the paper work for Buteera, we don’t intend to buy any new players,” Nshimiyimana told Times Sport on Thursday."The idea is to give our young team the time to play and mature together, and I believe we have a decent squad, capable of challenging for trophies locally as it grows into a top team to challenge for honours on the continent in the future,” he added.About Buteera, the former Amavubi skipper said, "He is a good player and we hope that he will be of good value for the club. His talent is indisputable and is hard working.”It has been an upward curve for Buteera, who has represented Rwanda at the U-17 FIFA World Cup, U-20 Championships and Cecafa with the senior Amavubi team.Nshimiyimana sees Buteera as an exciting talent for the future. The playmaker, who can also play as a striker could start playing regularly in the league’s second round."To finally have him as an APR player is a big relief, he adds strength to the team.  We don’t need more players,” Nshimiyimana added.  APR are currently third in the table with 23 points, two behind leaders SC Kiyovu.
