DundaStar Talent Search continues with their scheduled weekly live performances that double as elimination shows. Ten dance groups, four solo dancers and twelve musicians perform in front of a panel of judges and a live audience, as they seek to identify Rwanda’s next super talent in the dance and song categories. The talent search started with local auditions, from which contestants were selected to proceed to the Qualifiers auditions, and still, a few finalists were selected for the live performances stage of the competition. To start the New Year, Dundastar has organised the next live show under the theme "Current Hits”, where the contestants are challenged to perform songs that are currently topping the charts. The songs can be local, regional or international, and in any language. Creativity is one of the aspects that will be considered, in addition to stage presence. Two musicians and two dance groups are up for elimination. The performances start at 6pm this Friday 4th January and are scheduled to end at 8pm at Rainbow Hotel in Kicukiro. Entrance fee is RWF 2000 only.Dundastar ended 2012 on a high note with contestants presenting performances under the theme "Happy Holidays” treating the audience to creativity revolving around the Christmas and New Year holidays. While every performance was unique, the star of the evening was Jean Luc who, according to the organisers, auditioned first as a musician and then as a dancer. He made it to the finalists list on the dance ticket.  At the end of the show, four contestants, two musicians, one dance group and one solo dancer got the lowest marks and had to drop out of the competition.
