On this week’s episode of the Long Form podcast, we are joined by Vincent Karega to discuss the conflict between DR Congo and the Kinyarwanda-speaking ‘Rwandophones’ community in the country.

Karega, born April 1963 in DR Congo, was expelled as Rwanda’s ambassador to the troubled country in October 2022 over paranoia that Rwanda was supporting the M23 rebel group.

He is currently the designate ambassador of Rwanda to Belgium.
