Hymnos, Dr Ipyana impress at live music concert

Hymnos, a fast-rising gospel duo of worshippers Noamie and Dedo alongside Tanzanian gospel recording artiste and Dr Ipyana put an extraordinary moment of praise and worship during their live recording concert held at Crown Conference Hall in Nyarutarama, on Thursday, June 22.

The live concert kicked off at around 6:40pm, hosted by Tracy Gasaro, who invited the duo to perform some of their songs.

They revealed how excited and grateful they were to be performing in Rwanda and spreading the word in a moment that God has made for them. However the crowd was also moved by the singers’ melodies and powerful lyrics of their songs.

Singing ‘Majina Yote Mazuri,’ ‘Tumbira Umusaraba’ and ‘Niko Salama’, it was a beautiful and unforgettable moment for everyone in the room. It even got heavenly when they started singing their famous song ‘Amagambo’ as everyone lit up in praise. The song garnered many fans for duo.

Some of the gospel icons who attended the live recording concert include Papi Clever, Aline Gahongayire and Alex Dusabe, among others.

Dr Ipyana joined the duo on stage

Hymnos, based in Kampala, is known for its Kinyarwanda and Swahili songs that have always inspired gospel music lovers in the region.

The worshippers had recently explained in an interview that they all share a common vision of spreading the Good news of Christ to different people, which is why they chose to work together with Dr Ipyana.

Dr. Ipyana from Tanzania, who last came to Rwanda for the first time in 2018 preached the word of God for a short period of time and was joined by Hymnos on stage in a praise and worship hour that uplifted the crowd.

Dr Ipyan was given the grace to serve the souls through divine inspirational songs. He is widely known for his songs like Niseme Nini, Ni wewe and Mile na Milele among others.

Dedo and Naomie who have been in preparations for the event since January this year blessed people and the concert kept on getting better song after song. It was initially scheduled for May but was later postponed to June due to some disruption.

The Hymnos gave an intensive praise and worship concert, leaving a beautiful mark on all those who attended the concert. They delivered an incredible performance through their songs that have powerful messages that inspired many.

The two gospel artistes, Dedo and Naomie, had also explained that their relationship is fixed in Christ.

Hymnos and Dr. Ipyana thanked all the gospel music lovers who joined them during the extraordinary moment of praise and worship that God has made for them.
