After all Rwandan players suffering early exit in the third leg of ITF F2 Futures tournament on Monday, Jean Claude Gasingwa attributed it to poor preparation and inexperience.In an interview with Times Sport, Gasigwa confessed he and his compatriots did their best to reach second round but fell short against better and more experienced opponents."Those guys are tough and experienced more than us so we cannot blame ourselves because they have played at this level for so many years,” he admitted.He added, "Our preparation for these tournaments wasn’t the best to say the least…, I don’t want to use that as an excuse for our poor performances but it’s the fact.”Gasigwa also lost in the first round in first leg played in Bujumbura three weeks ago before reaching the second round in second leg last week in Kigali.And his sentiments were echoed by second seed in country Dieudonne Habiyambere, who has never gone beyond the first round."Honestly, we (Rwandan players) are still behind some of the guys who compete in these tournaments, it will take time to reach their level but it’s possible, we can’t give up, as time goes by we’re gaining more experience to compete at the top level,” Habiyambere said. Gasingwa lost to German Manner Oskar 6-3, 6-4, while Habiyambere was beaten 2-6, 6-1,6-2 by Uganda’s Olinga David. Another Rwandan Mubarak Harerimana was brushed aside by Russian Igoshin Alexander 6-0, 6-0.The home players didn’t fare any better in the doubles after the pair of Jean Claude Gasingwa and Mubarak Harerimana lost in the main draw 6-0, 6-1 to Khadani Hichan of Morocco and Hassan Ndayishimye of Burundi.
