Editor,The ongoing crackdown by Rwanda Revenue Authority on products bearing forged tax stamps is a welcome development. There is no way our country will develop economically when we still have corrupt-minded business people. However, I think the tax on consumption goods should be fair and more affordable by the business people. Let us support Rwanda Revenue Authority in its campaign to fight substandard products coming in our country.Teta, Nyagatare ----------------------------------EditorIt is a well known fact that wine and liquor smuggled from Uganda is bought by business people here. This is not the first time we have heard traders being accused of using unscrupulous methods to evade taxes.  Traders ought to know that without paying taxes, the government will not be able to construct roads or hospitals.I urge every Rwandan to support RRA campaign against any malpractice by errant taxpayers, especially through forging tax stamps, and smuggling un-authorised wines and liquors into the country.Mupende, Kigali(Response to a story titled ‘RRA seizes 70 cartons of smuggled alcohol’ published on Thursday)
