Bitok and Nsengiyumva to lead V-ball teams

Paul Bitok and Jean Marie Nsengiyumva will lead the girls and boys’ youth and junior national team respectively in the 2013 CAVB Youth and Junior Championships qualifiers.Former Kenyan international, Bitok is also in charge of the national senior team, while ex-Rwandan national team star, Nsengiyunva is the coach league side Kigali Volleyball Club. Rwanda will host CAVB women’s youth championships in the first week of January 2013, while Uganda could host the boys’ junior tournament whose dates are yet to be set. It will be the first CAVB international tournament to be hosted by Rwanda. According to Rwanda volleyball federation Technical Director of, Christian Hatuminama the two men will be in charge for the teams but without specifying who will coach the boys or the girls."As host country, we need to have a strong team capable using home advantage to go all the way to the title,” Hatumimana said.According to Hatumimana, the federation will on November 27-28, invite players across the country, who were born after 1997 (girls) and 1993 (boys) from which the best 18 will be selected to start the training.
