The East African Community should seek peace for its member country Burundi as part of ensuring security in the community.

The continuous delay of Burundi to achieve security, peace and economic development is also a bad bite in the EAC cause.

Burundi has been crumbled by the spontaneous attacks on its capital in recent weeks, a trend that EAC concerns need to get rid of if its cause is to be realized in that country.

The influx of its work force escaping violence there is also alarming.
