Rwandan socialite Sandra Teta has said that her baby daddy Douglas Mayanja, best known as Weasel, never laid hands on her as it was reported by the media both in Rwanda and Uganda.

Teta, who is also an event promoter, said this at Pallaso’s concert in Kampala last week, after the media bumped into her for clarification on her fallout with famous fiancé and the photos in which she appeared to have been thumped and left with a deformed face.

"Weasel has never laid his hands on me or beat me because I have not said it anywhere. I wrote a statement saying I was beaten by thugs and people trashed it and created their own stories,” Teta said, replying to a journalist who had pointed out the issue.

This comes a few months after Teta reunited with Weasel in Kampala for the first time since her family flew her back to Kigali saying that they were protecting their daughter from her "abusive fiancé."

Asked about why she was rushed back home in 2022, Teta said, " I didn’t face or get any troubles with Weasel Manizo. I only took my children to my parents to see them because since their birth, my parents had never gotten the chance to see them.”

"And, I think, that’s allowed in a relationship,” she added.

Early this year, Weasel who is a famous musician in Uganda and brother to East African celebrated music star Chameleon, hinted on how he is planning to make the relationship with Teta official through marriage.

He also said that plans for a traditional pre-wedding ceremony known as Gusaba are underway.

The couple is blessed with two kids and has been dating since 2018, when Teta Sandra decided to relocate to Kampala for greener pastures.

Teta became a public figure back in 2011, when she contested for Miss SFB.

Prior to dating Weasel, Teta dated Active Again crew member Dereke and Miss Rwanda organization boss Ishimwe Dieudonne alias Prince Kid who is now husband to Miss Rwanda 2017 Elsa Iradukunda.
