Dear editor,

The recently concluded appointment of judges and attorneys is a sign that fighting corruption in our country is paramount. The fight against corruption calls for extreme integrity and discipline.

Those in such high positions are usually faced with tempting situations of taking bribes from culprits who are so wealthy and want to buy off all situations. Some one without integrity will fall prey and in no time will be facing the law.

Strict judges who know the law in depth are what we need in our country today. These are the very judges who will represent the country and its peoples’ rights without favouritism and ensure every ones well being.

Incidents of corrupt judges as are with the cases of most of our neighboring countries and the rest of Africa is some thing we do not want Rwanda to be a part of. With this congratulations go to all the appointed new judges as well as those already in the field with a reminder that integrity is what counts.
