Uwineza 2:17:25 Adrien Niyonshuti became the first cyclist to win back-to-back Tour of Kigali titles after leading from the start to win this year’s event yesterday.Niyonshuti rode 160km in a time of 3:44:31:07 to retain the Tour de Kigali jersey.The 2009 winner, Nathan Byukusenge, came second after, riding the distance in 3: 44: 31:94 while rookie Valens Ndayisenge came in third position after clocking 3:47:19: 80.In the women category, 16-year old Jeanne d’Arc Girubuntu emerged the winner after traversing 65km in 2: 17: 07.She was followed by Jeanette Uwimana who used 2:17: 09, while Dianne Uwineza finished third overall with a time of 2: 17:25.Next on the calendar is the Tour du Rwanda slated for November 18-25.
