AFTER resigning as Rayon Sport’s assistant coach, Abdu Mbarushimana has come out to castigate the team’s administrators saying their failure to address concerns is the root cause of the team’s poor performing. The former Nyanza, Electrogaz and Police coach said, "The club fans are impatient and exhibit bad behaviours by attacking coaches in situations of poor results.”"You can’t sack a coach every year and expect to succeed. You can’t get results without being stable. Everything needs patience and preparations,” he added.Apart from Mbarushimana, other coaches that have been sacked and confronted by fans include Jean Baptiste Kayiranga, Romano, Raoul Shungu and Jean Marie Ntagwabira.Rayon Sport Secretary General, Olivier Gakwaya, promised to punish any fan caught trying to attack coaches."We can assure everyone that whoever is caught in the act will be punished. Unfortunately we have not caught anyone. I think the presence of police at match venues will help curb this unethical behaviour.”
