Nirisarike promises strong comeback

ROYAL Antwerp and Amavubi Stars defender Salomon Nirisarike, who has been out for weeks due to a hamstring injury, has promised to come back stronger.Due to the injury he picked during his team’s league game three weeks ago in the Belgium second division, Nirisarike has been left out of Amavubi squad for the upcoming International warm-up match against Namibia on October 13 in Windhoek."I am feeling good now and hope to make a strong come back, I have been treated quite well and it helps me to come back on time, I hope to be on my top again,” Nirisarike told the Belgian press.He said, "I hope to play again soon, I am delighted to come back and I started full training last week, I am not feeling any pain, I am feeling good and I hope to come back stronger than ever for club and national team.” The 18-year old picked up the injury in the 82 minute while playing for Royal Antwerp against Vise last three weeks. The match ended 2-2.The big centre back signed for Antwerp last year in a reported Euros 80,000 from Sec Academy. He has been a regular for the junior wasps and Amavubi senior team this year.Nirisarike could make his return for club at the weekend when Antwerp play against Tubize FC where he will face former Amavubi winger Jimmy Mulisa.Amavubi started training yesterday with 26 players. They will train for three days before heading to Windhoek on Thursday.
