They started the season with a 1-0 win over Espoir, followed with a victory against Amagaju (1-0), and then a 1-0 victory over AS Kigali on Saturday. Now Kayiranga is starting to believe this could be Kiyovu’s year to bring an end to their 19-year league trophy drought."It’s still too early but we can start to dream (of winning the league). We’ve made a dream start to the season and we shall continue to work to stay where we are for as long as possible,” Kayiranga told Times Sport. The 43-year old added, "The three wins in a row have given us confidence and I feel this team is capable to beat anyone in this league. We don’t fear anyone.”"We have a good team with genuine players, who want to do well for this club. The players are prepared to fight to the last. All they need is to be well-looked after in terms of motivation and getting paid on time. I will do my job and I hope God will lead us through to the very end,” stated the former Rayon Sport midfielder. The winning goal against AS Kigali was scored by veteran striker Bokota Labama, who crossed from rivals Rayon at the end of last season."Bokota has been phenomenal for us since the start of the league, he brings so much to the team in terms of technique and experience,” the ex-Rwandan international said of the current Amavubi striker, who has also had two spells with APR FC.
