Dear editor,

The steps taken by Atraco to solve the issue of overcrowding at the major bus stop at Kwarubangura stage is brilliant. The suggested strategy of taxis making rotations to pick passengers through main roads is definitely a better idea than the original one.

This method of collecting passengers is more effective as the case is in other East African countries.

Those in taxi businesses will become more effective as they also struggle to look for passengers instead of it being the other way round.

Though the strategy has not yet been implemented, this has at least encouraged some of us who are daily commuters to know that fighting for taxis after work at ‘Kwarubangura’ stage will not be part of our lifestyle for very long.

I hope that this plan will take effect as soon as possible so as to relive us from this daily hustle.
