Kabuga should stop playing games

Dear editor,

I have been closely monitoring the façade in the international media where a reporter claims to have talked with the notorious Felicien Kabuga for his possible transfer to Rwanda for trial.

My hypothesis is that, may be this killer is engineering these lies to send those in his pursuit (and who are closing in on him) on a wild goose chase.

This also shows that he may be finally loosing it. The fact that this not only emerges after his assets were frozen but also following America’s revival of the Reward for Justice Programme is no accident.

I would like to take this opportunity and use this forum to thank the Government of Rwanda to have foreseen this fugitive’s antics by refusing to accord any value, the false claims.

Kabuga is a very dangerous man who could not have waited for fourteen years to realize that he needed to contribute to the national unity and reconciliation process as the allegations claims.

Rwandans should also be vigilant and not be over consumed by these lies.

I would like to also call upon the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda to strengthen their grip and offer all it takes the efforts to apprehend this man who financed the Tutsi Genocide!
