The National University of Rwanda is set to hold another beauty contest sponsored by Campus Initiative Promotion (CIP).

The winner is awarded with the most relevant and important charity. Only eight young talented girls will feature in the Friday 23rd May contest.

The yearly event known as the Rector Excellence Awards "Inkera y’Abahizi” will also host Miss Campus 2008, a beauty contest widely known as "Nyampinga”.

For the 3rd edition, there will be special nominations apart from the Miss Campus Title; they will be also Miss Popularity, Miss Elegance and Miss Proudly Rwandan.

A number of other Awards will also be given to best sport teams, artists, cultural troop, etcetera at the occasion. The idea behind this event is to encourage competition for excellence in NUR Community.

Meanwhile, all Miss UNR contestants are scheduled to host a Press conference, today (Thursday 22nd May).
