Consider the well fare of teachers

Dear editor,

I would like to appreciate the good work that teachers in primary and secondary schools do. Teachers are the sole trainers of all children who pass through schools and without them knowledge and skills cannot be passed on to children.

On the other hand the conditions that most of these teachers serve in are not satisfying. For most of them they get a little pay at the end of the month without benefits added for the extra work done after class hours. If only school leaders could pay them for the extra hours and give some packages like provision of food while at the school. This would encourage them to teach better and this is to the advantage of our children.
