Intore Masamba has established himself as a music Ambassador in the region. A one man jingle, Masamba specializes in the traditional tunes and the golden oldies. Masamba has come a long way in the career and he is determined to climb to greater heights.

He is a great musician who claims to have not dreamt of becoming what he is today.

Masamba famous for his song "Nyeganyegaa" released his first album called "Ndi Uwawe", comprised of six singles at the age of 13.

The music star is grateful to ‘Sentore’, the cultural music icon from whom he inherited the talent, and who practically helped him to develop his talent at an early stage.

Masamba used to sit by his father’s side whenever he (the father) was making rehearsals. Young Masamba observed and later on started imitating how he played the guitar.

After mastering the guitar and singing in general, Masamba became convinced that he had a talent which needed to be abundantly exploited.

As his music career grew, Masamba worked harder to compose his own songs and stage performances. It was around this time that he met Rwanda’s best traditional artists like Jean Paul Samputu who also helped and inspired him to the world of music.

His immediate dream was to be able to sing in Kiswahili and some South African languages.

"I relate with South Africans a lot, because we share the same political history."

Masamba thereafter managed to venture into the Belgium’s entertainment industry where he had wonderful performances.

Although on the foreign land, Masamba was never influenced by their culture; he remained firm with his culture. He instead influenced them with the Rwandan traditional music and culture. He managed to do this with the help of some Rwandan musicians based in Belgium, like Cecile Kayirebwa.

Masamba is intending to spend some good time in America so to master the English language. This is will help him to write and sing in English and be able compete with the world’s most celebrated music aces, likes of Akon.
