Canal Rwanda, a subsidiary of Canal International has introduced a new promotion to enable clients to watch more channels and a variety of new content.

While addressing journalists at the media conference on May 25 during the promotion launch in Kiyovu, Aimé Abizera, a sales director at Canal Rwanda stressed that the new promotion dubbed, ‘Ibirori Bishyushye’ is aimed to introduce new prices for new and existing clients.

"New clients will purchase a Canal decoder at Rwf 5,000, Rwf 5,000 for installation, with six months warranty, and Rwf 10,000 for the package, making the overall price Rwf 20,000,” Abizera explained.

Clients already having Canal decoders are not left out of the promotion as every time they renew their subscription, will watch all channels regardless of the packages, including Ikaze, Zamuka, Zamuka na Siporo, and Ubuki.

The promotion that started on May 25, will carry on to June 30 with a bonus of 15 days whenever a client renews their subscription.

"The promotion will allow our clients to enjoy our best content such as games like the finals of the Champions’ League, Basketball Africa League (BAL) finals, entertainment like the series of ‘The bishop family’ seasons three and four’ which has been a successful series. It will be shown on Zacu TV, channel 38,” Abizera noted.

He stressed that Canal customers should expect fun, entertainment, and exceptional content on all 328 channels.

All new and existing customers stand a chance to win lots of gifts such as five smart TV 43’, five annual subscriptions for Ubuki (the highest package), six months' subscriptions for Ubuki for 25 clients, and three months subscriptions for Ubuki enjoyed by 50 lucky winners, once they buy the Canal decoders or renew their subscriptions.

Last month, Canal Rwanda introduced nine channels in Kiswahili, like KTN, Cinema Zetu, and others.

For inquiries about the promotion, customers can reach out to Canal agents countrywide or call 2200.
