At such a tender age of 16-years, Sonia Iraguha, a.k.a Shawte has already proved to be exceedingly a talented actress. The actress has not only captured attention of the local entertainment scene, but has also gone beyond boarders. However, the talent of Iraguha is not limited to the movie industry. Her success has spilled over into other arenas of entertainment, including music.

At such a tender age of 16-years, Sonia Iraguha, a.k.a Shawte has already proved to be exceedingly a talented actress. The actress has not only captured attention of the local entertainment scene, but has also gone beyond boarders. However, the talent of Iraguha is not limited to the movie industry. Her success has spilled over into other arenas of entertainment, including music.

She is an extremely intelligent; student of Green Hills Academy as attested by both her teachers and classmates.

The charming and gregarious young star is said to be a member of Dymz. A music group comprised of three vocalists.

Iraguha plays major roles in "Masherika Performing Art”, a famous drama group in the country. The actress and the group were recently in Scotland for a tour.

"She is one of young stars that are multi-talented,” said Ezra Kwizera. The actress proudly says that she started exploiting her talents at a young age, when she was only in pre-Primary classes.

"I was at St. Christopher Parents School, Nairobi and each class had to present a play everyday Monday. This increased my passion for acting,” Iraguha reflects.

Thanks to Masherika group that gloomed the young girl into a big celebrity of Rwanda. The actress has gone to high standards and also acted in both ‘Some Time in April’ and ‘Shooting Dogs’ films precisely reflecting the 1994 Rwandan Genocide.
