SaturdayAS Kigali     24-0     Urumuri Sunday Les Lionnes     2-1     APR Imirasire     0-2     RamburaAS Kigali defied odds to retain the 2011/2012 National Women Football League for a fourth year running.The Kigali-city sponsored club hammered Urumuri 24-0 on Saturday in a match where striker Shadia Uwamahirwe made history as she scored 11 goals to take his tally of goals this season to 27 in 18 matches.However, they had to halt celebrations for 24 hours for their rivals APR to play. APR were shocked to a 1-2 loss by Les Lionnes on Sunday, which certainly granted AS Kigali their fourth league title.AS Kigali who have two more games to play before the season comes to an end sits on top of the league table with 49 points, four points clear of APR who have played a game more than their counterparts.The champions will face Inyemera on August 1, before winding up with Imirasire on August 4 while APR will face The Winners Urumuri in the other fixture.
