Dear editor,

I was highly disillusioned recently; when I happened to be in one of the organizers of certain corporate function. This function was earlier on advertised, and we categorically put it that it was a corporate one.

Through common logic, that people invited to such a function have to dress decently, in a cooperate way. But it turned out that 65 percent of people who turned up, wore jeans, T- shirts and other unserious codes of dressings.

I got so perturbed, mostly when the chief guest we had called turned up African flat shoes. This takes us back to the issue of respect and etiquette, which people have abandoned. People ought to style up and respect others ceremonies.
