Dear editor,

The insults and mixed reactions I got from different people when my favorite football team- Liverpool was knocked out of the champion’s league last week, have prompted me to write to you the editor.

Yes I am still frustrated by our narrow failure to reach Moscow at the expense of Chelsea. But despite ending the season with no silverware, I insist it hasn’t been a campaign to forget about.

We’ve won the Champions League, FA Cup, been third and lost in a Champions League final in the last three years. So if I’m asked if this is the most disappointing season; I would say it’s not a bad one, but it could have been better.

The feeling I had when we beat arsenal the other day, was one of revenge after conceding 12 goals and loosing to them four times the previous season.

I am pretty sure that this is the same attitude the blues had ahead of the game that brought us to the end of the road. They were however lucky to have their dream came true that day.

So my fellow friends, before we start consoling ourselves and grieving that everything for this season is gone, we should think twice, there are still small things that we can achieve this year.

We can still be the team that scored many goals in England. And we can still keep a cleaner sheet.
