Dig out the bad morals

Dear editor,

I have been particularly impressed by the latest development in this country.

From your Sunday paper, I was meant to learn that a court in Gasabo District has convicted and sentenced a 44-year-old man to 30 years in prison for promoting underage prostitution.

This man, Mustafa Munyawera was a personal friend and the action taken against his dirty games with young girls takes me by no surprise.

He was accused by parents of luring their young girls from various secondary schools into prostitution.

I am happy because justice has prevailed against this monster. There is nonetheless, still chance to get more of his character since he cannot be operating alone. His collaborators and partners in crime should also be brought to book.

Munyawera used money to lure the girls in a house he rented and at night he would take them to night clubs and then convince them to sleep with several men, and later on transport them to East Africa. This is an inhuman conduct which is completely unacceptable.

And the "Brave" Munyawera had no shame when he admitted sleeping with them at his place.
