Keeping clean and healthy should be our daily responsibility both at home and school and now that you are at school, you have to be responsible of the toilets, the classrooms and the compounds you use every day.

You shouldn’t wait for your teachers to make a cleaning roster. It has to be your role as pupils to make sure that the environment is clean.

If not kept clean, the latrines we use at school can be dangerous to our lives. It is always good to wash our hands after visit the latrines.

Washing our hands after visiting the toilets prevents us from carrying germs into our bodies.

And to avoid carrying germs, we should make sure that besides our school latrines, there’s always a tank full of water to use in washing our hands.
