With SPENN, Norrsken members no longer have to worry about carrying cash or making bank transfers to pay for their membership.

SPENN mobile banking app in partnership with I&M Bank, has announced the launch of its integration with Norrsken, a move that will enable Norrsken members to pay their membership fees using the SPENN app, making membership payments easier, cost free and more convenient.

"We are excited to launch this integration with Norrsken, which will provide Norrsken members with a simple and secure way to pay their membership using their mobile devices," said Julius Karake, Country Manager for SPENN Rwanda.

"With SPENN, Norrsken members no longer have to worry about carrying cash or making bank transfers to pay for their membership.

With one-click within the Norrsken members’ portal, they will be able to approve the request on their SPENN account, anytime and anywhere," he added.

According to a statement from SPENN, the launch of the SPENN/Norrsken integration is just the beginning, as the app is making this payment option available for all trading houses and malls in Rwanda.

"The service will help businesses streamline fees collection and provide customers with an easy, secure, and reliable payment method,” the statement reads in part.

A popular space for people to forge meaningful connections, spur innovation, and grow their businesses to create scalable economic and social development, the Norrsken East Africa hub houses a mix of start-ups, incubators, VCs, accelerators, and corporations, forming an ecosystem that enables entrepreneurs to tackle the world’s problems.

Speaking about the integration, Che Rupari, Norrsken’s Community Manager, said Spenn's paying platform will help Norrsken ease the payment process for its ever-growing community.

"Spenn being a member of the community is an example of solutions that could be built by members of the Norrsken ecosystem,” he said.

SPENN is committed to making banking services more accessible and inclusive. The mobile banking app allows users to send and receive money, pay bills, and make purchases using their mobile devices, without the need for a bank account.
