In the not so distant past, going out to dance in Kigali was always a Friday and Saturday thing. But these days, things have changed. You will always find people having a good time these days.Any night can be a night to dance. But the question is, what is it that always pulls people out of their homes to dance and hang out all night any day of the week, when in most cases, when they expect to be at work the next morning.Karaoke would be the best answer for that. Karaoke has taken up different days of the week according to respective hotels and bars that have organized it. Well, everyone has their favorite place where they go and have the fun and they expect to get a good time out there. You will be amazed if you take time and see how many people will be in a place where there is Karaoke that night. Lilian Muhoza, is a second year student at KIST. She says: "I love karaoke so much and I am not a person that goes out at night but when I started going for Karaoke, it became my thing. I always go for it at Virunga bar at MTN centre every Wednesday”Well, that’s her favourite hangout.  Linda Maridadi a cashier at Eco bank has another thought as she says " I can never miss karaoke, although the people are not as many as during the weekend happening, still the few people there make it worth exchanging for my bed. I can’t miss it at Wahome’s Grill & Barbecue every Thursday.”Karaoke is one event where you will find no age limit. Even the old love it. With just a beer or two, one can still enjoy the night to the maximum. It won’t need a large wallet and yet the return is quite awesome. Hearing people sing in all voices, old, young, bass, horse and many more.
