Dear editor,

I t defeats logic how a person can comfortably sit on her veranda and sip her morning tea, while watching on as children cling and hung on to a moving car, on the adjacent road.

I looked with absolute fear mixed with a parental concern as I saw children, all of eight years and below notoriously clutching on to a moving car, nively exited not minding about the calamity that might befall them any second.

I urge parents and the entire public including authorities to look into this matter and stop children from clinging onto moving cars because for heaven’s sake it exposes them to open dangers of falling off and breaking limbs not mentioning a possibility of the moving car shattering their bodies.

This is a serious issue that needs immediate address, because it is prevailing in many parts of Rwanda irrespective of whether urban or rural. Just like the parents of this country and generally the entire public has proved to exhibit collective responsibility in many cases, act the same on this one too
