Today, Nyamirambo stadium will witness what is expected to be this football season’s title decider when nine time national football league champions APR take Atraco this afternoon.

APR lead the taxi-men on the league table by one point and a victory for either team will definitely have a major bearing on who takes the title.

APR searching for their tenth league title stands top on the league with 39 points while Atraco searching for their maiden league title since their promotion to the national division league two seasons ago comes second with 38 points. Both sides are boosted by the return of their influential players ahead of the thrilling fixture.

APR’s central defender Aloua Gaseruka returns after missing the Kibuye game due to a suspension and Haruna Niyonzima is also fit for today’s game after being rested fatigue in a 3-0 win last week.

According to team manager Capt. Eric Ntazinda, siblings Mbuyu and Kabange Twite are expected to start today’s game.

Peter Kagabo is expected back to beef up Atraco’s forwards after sitting out in his side’s 2-0 over  Etincelles on Sunday.

APR’s new coach Rene Feller will be facing his first real test today despite running over Kibuye on his debut over the weekend.

The taxi-men side will still play without the services of their suspended coach Jean-Marie Ntagwabira but his assistant coach Ruremesha has vowed to maintain the latter’s winning tactics.

"We have worked as a team despite his (Ntagwabira) absence from the technical bench and we are prepared for today’s battle.”

"I have an injury-free squad and maximum points are what we need to claim the league title this season,” Ruremesha said. On Monday, Military shocked Kiyovu to a 1-0 victory at Kanombe grounds.

Samuel Ndoli scored the all important goal to move his side away from the danger of being relegated in their debut season. Military is eighth on the league table with 15 points from sixteen league fixtures played.
