He made no mistake but shot past SC Kiyovu goalie to snatch an opener.Towards recess, Ibrahim Ndikumasabo doubled the lead from Phizi Hakizimana’s brilliant long-piece.The second half was largely quiet until the 90th minute when Djabir Mutarambirwa scored a consolation goal for the old giants.The win extended Police’s lead at the summit of the PNFL with 38 points in 18 matches played this season.The win sets the law enforcers a four points’ cushion over second placed Mukura who rested this weekend.Elsewhere, Marines stopped Isonga’s winning spree with a 1-0 win at Kicukiro turf, while Etincelles grabbed a 1-0 win over relegation battling Espoir at Umuganda stadium.Nyanza managed a 2-1 win over La Jeunesse at Mumena stadium, while Amagaju stunned AS Kigali to a 2-1 victory at Stade de Kigali.Despite the win, Nyanza and Espoir are still locked in the relegation zone with 16 and 6 points, respectively.
