This particular musician has used his carrier to take the passion to a higher level.

Eight years ago, Ruzindana Davis aka Doctor Davis released a song called Remera, which describes how beautiful and elegant it looks in his eyes. The cleanliness and beauty of this part of the city are his motivation into the studio.

"It is the main entrance to the country since it neighbours the international airport. People here are cooperative when it comes to community work at the end of the month (umuganda) and the whole place looks just good,” explained the music Doctor.

Doctor Davis said that Remera, being such an important suburb of Kigali, enjoys the peace in the country to host a number of visitors.

"I will also use this chance to thank the Government for supporting our efforts and contributions towards making this country a better place. They do not mind even if we pronounced their names in our songs,” said Doctor Davis in defence of his other song Rwanda Gihugu cyiza (Rwanda the beautiful country) in which he mentions names of big Government dignitaries. He did it with Natty Dread.

Davis, 25 insists that despite the challenges that await any determined mind, he is going to work towards Unity and reconciliation of Rwandans and that his love for home will never die.

"East and West, home is best,” he concludes.
