President Kagame yesterday received the new group of advisors of Tony Blair’s African Governance Initiative (AGI). The AGI programme is now in its fourth year in Rwanda. The new team is part of the recently launched Strategic Capacity Building Initiative, and will form the largest team since Mr Blair launched AGI in 2008. The full team of 12 advisors will be based in the Office of the President; Office of the Prime Minister; Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Infrastructure; RDB and the Public Sector Capacity Building Secretariat for the next four years.
