Editor,Nigerian fans must be rest assured of their players’ security before, during and after Wednesday’s match at Kigali Regional Stadium. In Rwanda, we don’t have, have never had and will not have such kind of hooliganism on and off our pitches. They should be rest assured that our oil in Rwanda is security; our football fans are disciplined so much they cannot dream of getting involved in such kinds of hooliganism and violence we have seen elsewhere in the past, including most recently in Egypt. We are a respectable and responsible footballing nation. Therefore concerns that the state of Kigali Regional Stadium does not meet security and safely requirements are misguided, to say the least.
