Intestinal worms should have similar attention like any other disease that poses serious health dangers.

Worms have been proven to be a health hazard especially to the less advantaged making them more vulnerable to many ailments.

Among the highly susceptible group include school going age children who are fond of playing in dirt, eating dirty foods, especially fruits, which increases the risk of getting infected with worms.

Let the government establish a project that supports patients who have intestinal worms. Worm infections make their victims less effective in almost every thing they do thus crippling the economy.

A talk about worms at public gatherings is vital, for example when people gather for communal work (umuganda), where people meet in big numbers, and even in places of worship as the clergy are among opinion leaders.

The clergy can positively impact on the community since members of public always take what the clergy preach to be of a paramount importance.

Sensitization of primary school teachers about the menace that occur as a result of intestinal worms can also be helpful since they work among the people with accessibility to the masses up to grass root level.

These teachers can constantly teach the children under their guidance about the dangers, and how to take preventive measures against intestinal worms.
