Players abroad: Mutsinzi hits brace for Al Wahda as Mukunzi starts for Sandviken

Rwanda’s striker Patrick Mutsinzi is coming of age. He continued his fine exploits in the United Arab Emirates as he netted a double for Al Wahda in their 4-1 drubbing of Dibba Al Fujairah in the U21 League.

Midfielder Yannick Mukunzi also retained his starting role in Sandviken IF midfield and played 69 minutes in his first league game of the season to help his team beat Motala.

United Arab Emirates

Youngster Patrick Mutsinzi netted a brace in the 37th and 69th minute as Al Wahda U21 thrashed Dibba Al Fujairah 4-1 in the UAE Under 21 League.

Sweden

Yannick Mukunzi started his first game since his injury return and played 69 minutes as Sandvikens IF thrashed Motala 3-1. Lague Byiringiro did not make the Sandvikens match day squad as he waits to regain full fitness after a small knock.

Rafael York had to walk out of the pitch after only 32 minutes as he was replaced by Senastian Friman after picking up a knock. His side Gefle IF went on to beat Helsingborg 1-0 in the Superettan.

Elsewhere, attacker Kalebo Wimbabazi was an unused substitute in Pitea IF team which lost 2-1 to Vaslund.

Belgium

Samuel Gueulette was introduced as a substitute in the 60th minute for promotion chasing Raal La Louvieree who beat Royal Knokke 2-0

Djihad Bizimana was not in the KMSK team which were hammered 4-1 by Lommel at the Soeverein Stadium

Morocco

Left-back Emmanuel Imanishimwe played 90 minutes for AS FAR Rabat who maintained their position at the top of the Botola League with a 2-1 victory over Moghreb Tétouan

France

Warren Kamanzi played the entire 90 minutes of the match for Toulouse who lost 2-1 at home to Olympique Lyon.

Hakim Sahabo was also in action for Lille U19 who drew 1-1 with Montfermiel in the French U19 league on Sunday

Elsewhere in the Championnat Nationale, Irvyn Lomami played 90 minutes for Olympique Lyonnais' second team which was held to a 1-1 draw with Ales.

Norway

Ange Mutsinzi was resolute at the back of FK Jerv who went to Bergen to defeat Asane 2-1 on Sunday.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Clement Buhake Twizere was between the posts for Strommen IF who lost 1-0 to Alta.

Luxembourg

Sven Kalisa was not in Etzella Ettelbruck’s team that beat Jeunesse Esch 3-0 as he continues to serve his suspension after he was shown a red card.

Netherlands

Johan Bakayako played 69 minutes and assisted Guus Til's goal as PSV went to the Kras Stadium to beat Volendam 3-2.

Moldova

Steve Rubanguka made way for Gheorghe Andronic in the 37th minute as his side Chisinau Zimbru beat Balti 1-0.

England

Noam Emeran will be in action for Manchester United U21 when the club face Leicester City in the Premier League 2 while George Lewis Ishimwe was not in the Arsenal U21 team which drew 3-3 with Brighton at the Meadow Park.

Syria

Ernest Sugira was in action for Al Wahda Damascus who lost 1-0 to Al Ittihad

Switzerland

Quentin Rushenguziminega featured for FC Echallens who were defeated 2-0 at home by Monthey FC.

Kenya

Central defender Emery Bayisenge was an unused substitute as Gor Mahia were held to a 2-2 draw with Posta Rangers in the Kenya Premier League.
