Practice makes perfect. Put your talents into practice.

GOD has blessed every child with at least one talent. Therefore, if you are reading this, you have a talent.

A talent is something that someone loves to do very much and is good at it. It could be singing, dancing, playing the piano, playing football, basketball or even art and so many others.

However, if one has a talent, they should not just sit on it but use it. Using it means exercising your talent. For example, at home, school or church.

If you love singing, build that talent by joining the school choir or even the church choir for children. Through this, you can become better at your talent because of the practice.

Leslie Girihirwe 11, a resident of Kabeza, says that her talent is playing the piano and dancing.

"I love playing the piano so much and dancing. These are some of my talents and I am building them through practicing. I go to church for piano lessons every week because I want to become a better pianist,” Girihirwe said.

Girihirwe says that she enjoys watching dance shows so that she can learn dance moves from better dancers. She plans to play piano for her church every holiday as a way of building her talent.

She called upon other children to always try out lots of activities to discover their talents and always practice them.
