APR, Kiyovu get cash boost

APR and Kiyovu have received Rwf15m each ahead of their continental engagements. APR will represent the country in the Orange Caf Champions league while the green baggies will fly Rwanda’s flag in the Orange Confederation Cup.
The Director of Sports in the Sports Ministry Emmanuel Bugingo says that the funds will improve the teams’ preparations.
"We hope the funds will help them prepare for the tournaments and we wish them well,” he said.
APR will play Kenya’s Tusker FC in the preliminary round while SC Kiyovu is slated to take on Simba of Tanzania in the first round of the confederation Cup.
