President Kagame will this week make a three-day State Visit to Uganda, honouring an invitation extended by President Yoweri Museveni while on his a State Visit to Rwanda in July last year.

President Kagame will this week make a three-day State Visit to Uganda, honouring an invitation extended by President Yoweri Museveni while on his a State Visit to Rwanda in July last year.

During the January 25-27 visit, President Kagame will be recognized for his contribution to the liberation of Uganda at the NRM Victory Day celebrations to be held in Kapchorwa, Eastern Uganda, on 26 January.

President Kagame will hold talks with his counterpart and the two Heads of State will be briefed by their foreign ministers on the outcome of the ongoing Joint Permanent Commission, and attend a State Banquet to be held in his honour at State House Entebbe.

President Kagame is also scheduled to visit a factory in Kampala, meet with members of the Rwandan Diaspora living in Uganda, and hold a joint press conference with President Museveni before concluding the State Visit on Friday.
