Editor,

I would like to extend gratitude to the much-improved customer care industry in the telecoms sector, particularly, at the MTN head offices in Nyarutarama. As part of giving back to my society, I vowed to always tip and talk about good customer care services whenever I find it worth.

I visited MTN head offices last week to get a replacement for my simcard and thought would take hours since the office super busy.

A staff member, Mark Mico, immediately offered to help. He followed all steps and did not seem distracted by other clients. When my simcard finally came, he helped me to activate it in my phone and then gave me a small key holder as a token and then told me to come again.

I was so shocked because in some other offices, people who are supposed to attend to clients make themselves busy instead of helping us.

Now I know that whenever I get a problem with my phone, there is someone I can rely on. All people in the customer care service can take a leaf from this young man.
